The next speaker of the monthly spring series, Dr Jamie Jenkins, from the University of Helsinki, will present their work, ‘Exploring the Sustainable Development of Offshore Wind in Finland’

Description: This talk outlines my research exploring the policies that support the sustainable development of offshore wind energy in Finland. I’ll discuss the challenges of balancing renewable energy expansion with environmental and societal considerations and highlight strategies for ensuring that offshore wind projects contribute to a just and sustainable energy transition.
