Our world is already digital, but digitalization is unevenly distributed. What does that mean? How are we affected and how can we influence what is going on? The European campaign All Digital Week provides a platform for citizens to discuss and offers a window to the digital realm. On Tuesday 26.3. Helsinki central library Oodi will fill up with digital content, workshops, lectures, and discussions. The programme includes content for all ages in Finnish, Swedish, English and Russian. Some examples include the police officer Hannu Kortelainen who talks about net crime and Sininauhaliitto, who works to empower people from the shelters for homeless and the breadlines to become digital citizens. The strategic director at the public broadcasting company Yle discusses digital challenges for mass media. The full programme can be accessed at https://alldigitalweekfinland.blog/helsinki/. The event is also on Facebook.
