Safer Space Principles at Oodi

By employing the Safer Space Principles, we aim to make everyone at Oodi feel welcome.

Together with our customers, we have created the Safer Space Principles, which apply to all Oodi visitors. We are all responsible for the implementation of the principles.

We cannot guarantee that Oodi will always be a safe space for everyone. That is why we talk about the principles of safer spaces.

Equality

Everyone is equally welcome at Oodi. You and everyone else have the right to your own space and peace.

Respect

Do not discriminate, harass or offend anyone. Be aware of your own privileges and your assumptions about other people. Tell staff if you encounter or observe harassment. Intervene, if you can.

Manners

Do not run, do not shout, do not make a mess – this applies to visitors of all ages. If you are filming, be polite and ask permission. Please do not take pictures of children.

Responsibility

Children are the responsibility of the adults they are with. As a visitor, you are also responsible for the atmosphere at Oodi. Your actions affect other people. If you make mistakes, learn from them.
