Brygga, the City of Helsinki Urban Environment Division’s participation space in Oodi, will be closing after November. Due to the coronavirus emergency, resident and customer events are largely being held online. Later on, Helsinki residents will also be served by the Urban Environment Division’s new premises in Kalasatama.
Events related to the urban environment will be arranged online for the time being. More information on the events can be found on the Urban Environment Division’s website and social media channels.
Brygga has served as an experimental space where city residents have been able to gain information about topical projects and engagement opportunities related to the urban environment. Activity-oriented exhibitions have been held on a variety of themes, such as street works, city nomenclature, traffic and climate issues.
The ‘Ode to the nature of Helsinki’ (Oodi Helsingin luonnolle) exhibition will be available in Brygga until 29.11.2020, as per Oodi’s opening hours. The exhibition provides the opportunity to wander through a pop-up nature reserve or navigate duckboards to a bird watching platform.
