Unveiled Ukraine – Stories and Photographs from Ukraine
"Unveiled Ukraine" is a multi-layered artistic project that combines documentary and artistic photography, video, and personal stories of people from Crimea and Donbas who were forced to leave their homes following the onset of Russian aggression in 2014.
The project’s goal is to reveal the true face of war — to capture broken lives, ruined cities, and vanished worlds. Through visual imagery and documentary testimony, the author — Ukrainian sociologist and photographer Kateryna Mostova — engages the viewer in a dialogue about pain, loss, and the inhumane brutality that Russia brings to Ukraine. This is a project of memory, a project of truth that profoundly reflects the Ukrainian reality.
As part of the event, two discussions will take place, organized by the Ukrainian Association in Finland. Cf. Programme.
