Welcome to step into an interactive advent calendar in Helsinki Central Library Oodi, December 1st – 29th, 2024

Step into AR Advent, an interactive advent calendar, and reveal animated digital creations that
celebrate winter and Christmas. You can unlock the advent calendar’s virtual doors and experience
the full augmented reality effect with sound and animation, using the free Artivive app on your mobile
device. 

The exhibition is also a video presentation, so you can enjoy the visuals even without the app.

You can interact with all of the 25 child-friendly door contents on any day of your visit.

AR Advent -project is created and curated by Sandra Barth of studio BARBAR in collaboration with
Fern. The creations that pop from behind the doors are made by nearly 40 artists and sound designers from around the world, and AR Advent is exhibited also in Atlanta, London, and Leipzig.
