Mounou Mounou Liikkuu Liikkuu Dance Festival
Mounou Mounou - Liikkuu Liikkuu Dance Festival is a festival that happens in public spaces in the centre of Helsinki. The festival combines african dance and contemporary dance and asks, how these different styles can work together and influence each other. How can one learn from each other and enrich the concept of contemporary dance?
The festival programme is composed of four performances; two solos and two duets. The performances happen in four different places and the proposition is that the audience changes locations with the performances, watching all four of them. Also bypassers are welcome to stay and enjoy dance performances.
