The Smell of Money is a documentary that follows Elsie Herring and her rural North Carolina community as they take on the multibillion-dollar pork industry that has been spraying animal waste on their homes and land for decades.

After the screening, Visa Kurki (University of Helsinki), Salla Tuomivaara (University of Turku) and Kristo Muurimaa (Justice for Animals) will discuss the themes of the film and the current legal status of animals in Finland.
