A fiction book, recommended for children ages 6+, about the first refugees in Finland: the Chilean families.
Participants in the debate: Professor Alfonso Padilla, on whom the book is inspired, Anna Sidorova, translator, member of IBBY-Finland, and TAIKE Arts Advisor, the researcher and expert in Finnish Children’s Literature, Mia Österlund, and Sanna Pelliccioni. Moderated by Javiera Marchand Aedo.
The musicians Rodrigo Rodríguez and Mikko Nousianen will end this event with music to sing together.
The event will be the first children's event of the "Chile50" program (www.chile50.fi) a larger commemoration in Finland.
