Helsinki based Pirkko Sassi, 66 years old, met her friend at Oodi and had lunch with her at the first floor restaurant. Next to the fine views, both the food and company tasted great. After eating, it was time to take care of other tasks. Pirkko borrowed a book from the third floor Book Heaven. It took a while to find the right book. It was a thriller written by Metropolitan Panteleimon.
Pirkko also likes attending lectures and literature events together with her husband. She hopes that different events and functions can soon be held again. “The best thing about Oodi is the sense of community. This is like our shared living room where you get to meet other people. There’s a beautiful milieu and everything works flawlessly”, Pirkko summarizes.
