The opening hours of Central Library Oodi will change slightly in the coming year 2022. On weeknights, from Monday to Friday, Oodi will close at 21:00 instead of 22:00. Otherwise, the opening hours will remain the same as before.
The last opening hour on weeknights, from 21:00 to 22:00, has been quiet in terms of the number of visitors to Oodi, so the new arrangement will increase the workforce at busier times.
“Oodi’s visitor peak on weekdays is in the early evening between 17:00 and 19:00. The last hour, on the other hand, has always been quieter at Oodi. This is why we decided to allocate our staff resources so that we could get more people to serve customers at busy times,” says Anna-Maria Soininvaara, Director of Central Library Oodi.
