Do you have a video artwork, music video, animation, short film, sound art, or another media art piece you would like to present publicly?
Oodi is seeking a variety of media art works to be presented in Oodi’s spaces during 2026–2027. Oodi welcomes small and large event organizers, private citizens and associations alike. Oodi focuses on presenting technology-mediated art – works designed to be presented in digital format. At Oodi, it is possible to organize small or larger media art exhibitions or art events. Whether you are planning a workshop, screening or media art experience, we have a variety of technical equipment and facilities that are suitable for artistic use.
The content of the artwork must align with the library’s values. Oodi does not pay compensation for presenting the works. The events cannot have a registration or admission fee.
Send us a link to the video or a sample of the work, along with a description of the piece and its creators, and explain in the message why the work would be suitable for presentation at Oodi.
Please send your message by 28 February 2026 to oodi.taide@hel.fi with the subject line “Media Art Open Call 2026-2027”.
The application period is open till 28th of February 2025. During that time applications can be sent for events to be held in 2026-2027.
